A vulture laid an egg inside her cage in a zoo.
The mom vulture asked the stork outside the cage to take the egg and raise her chick so he would live in freedom.
The moon waxed, waned and waxed again. And a baby boy-vulture was born, named Anyr.
Anyr takes off on a voyage in freedom, leaving behind her mother in the cage.
Upon his return to the zoo he falls in love, star-crossed.
His caged sweetheart Lalla also entrusts her egg to Anyr, wishing a free life for her child.
Baby girl Titi, thus born in freedom, also takes off into the endless sky.

著者略歴
- 作：カレム久実
- 東京都出身。
イギリスの大学で「環境と開発」の分野で修士号を取得。
長年アジア・アフリカで環境・開発分野の仕事に従事。
「ハゲタカの旅」は2018年に初めて息子と訪れたモロッコの首都ラバトの動物園で着想。その後、同国在住中に各地で目にした風景にインスパイアされて生まれた。

世界各地を旅した末辿り着いたカンボジア・プノンペンでNowhere Art Studio を設立し、国際的に活躍するアーティスト。
